Ducks and Ducklings (Parent and Child Class) For children ages 13 months to 2½ years with a parent or caregiver Ducks & Ducklings is a gentle and nourishing gathering for toddlers and their caregivers, rooted in the peaceful rhythms of Waldorf early childhood. Together, we spend time in the fresh air—tending to our hens, moving through simple seasonal songs, and sharing in the wonder of the world through the eyes of a child. This class offers more than just a morning routine—it is a space to slow down, to observe your child in their natural unfolding, and to connect with other parents in a warm and judgment-free community. After our time outdoors, we move into the calm and beauty of our Waldorf classroom, where toddlers are invited into purposeful play. A wholesome snack is offered, and parents are welcomed into heartfelt conversation and shared reflection. Here, we explore the foundations of Waldorf education and discover new ways to care for our children—and ourselves—with simplicity, reverence, and joy.
